rEvolution, the integrated global sports marketing and media agency, welcomes Dave Mullins as Senior Vice President of Client Development. Working from San Diego, Mullins will lead rEvolution’s business development efforts, particularly identifying and delivering impactful marketing strategies for both prospective and current clients.
“From our first conversations, I was immediately impressed with Dave’s experience in advancing the modern utilization of sports marketing services for brands,” said John Rowady, President and Founder of rEvolution. “Dave will be a great asset to the rEvolution team and will be instrumental in our mission to deliver quality awareness and real business return for brands through our distinctive integrated marketing and analytics approach.”
Mullins joins rEvolution as the agency continues to expand its footprint – both within North America and internationally. This fall 2018, rEvolution will be moving to a larger global headquarters within Chicago’s emerging Fulton Market neighborhood. Additionally, the independent agency is the parent company of REV/XP, an independent esports marketing and talent management agency, and RGE, a global event consultancy.
“As the sports and sponsorship industry continues to undergo rapid change, I’m extremely excited to begin this new chapter with an independent industry leader in rEvolution,” stated Mullins. “rEvolution’s sports expertise, creative innovation and integrated services are first-class, and I look forward to delivering on behalf of its client partners for years to come.”
An accomplished sports and entertainment marketing executive, Mullins spent the past 12 years at GMR Marketing, delivering smart and innovative solutions to new and existing top-tier brands, including Visa, Esurance and Intel. Before joining GMR, he managed business operations at The National Sports Forum, the largest cross-team sports sales and marketing conference in North America, and today is an active member of its Steering Committee. Mullins is a graduate from San Diego State University, holding a bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis on Advertising.
