A New Kind of Internship

rEvolution Development League

2020/2021 Update: Virtual Mentorship Program

While rEvolution has modified our usual Development League programing due to COVID-19, we are still committed to supporting and championing the next generation of sports marketing leaders. As such, we are continuing our virtual mentorship program each season.

Our modified program provides a valuable experience for each internship class, including:

  • rEvolution Mentor: Each intern will be paired with a rEvolution mentor to be a positive voice and resource for current and graduating students interested in sports marketing and navigating these tough times.
  • Lunch & Learns: A Development League program staple, rEvolution executives and directors will be hosting up to six virtual Lunch & Learns, giving our interns direct access to connect with and learn from our executive leadership team.
  • Case Study Project: While unable to work on client work, our intern class will complete a group project that they will present to select rEvolution employees at the end of the program.

Graduate Remarks

“The intern team had the unique experience of working with a real client, the YMCA of Chicago Metro, to pitch a brand initiative. This experience taught me so much that I can take with me through the rest of my undergrad and into the beginning of my career.”

Hannah Raus // Indiana University, Class of 2020
Summer 2019 Hospitality Intern

Graduate Remarks

“I’ve completed a few different internships, and I learned more in the first two weeks here than I did throughout the entirety of some of the other programs I’ve done.”

Katrina Marcotte // DePaul University, Class of 2019
Summer 2019 Marketing Communications Intern

Graduate Remarks

“Working at rEvolution, as far back as my internship days, has given me the chance to work on some really cool experiential sports activations. Through our Travelers campaigns, I’ve even witnessed firsthand some of golf’s greatest moments – Jim Furyk’s 58 and Jordan Spieth’s back-to-back chip in for the win. Not many people my age get to experience things like that. I love what I get to do here every single day. “

Christian DiBerardino // Associate, Production Services
Summer 2016 Client Services Intern

Graduate Remarks

“During my internship, I had the chance to work on the America’s Cup and quickly learned firsthand what it means to work in the sports marketing industry. Three years later, and I’m still loving what I do here at rEvolution, even if it sometimes means wearing a horse mascot suit to create 2019 World Cup GIFs.”

Michael Begel // Manager, Integrated Client Services
Summer 2016 Client Services Intern
