The VP, Operations role will be a strategic member of the agency leadership, working directly with the CEO. A core responsibility is the planning and managing of agency budgets coupled with the performance metrics to achieve and exceed company financial goals. This role is essential in synergizing the processes with teammates throughout the organization, while directly managing the Finance, HR, IT, Legal and Administrative departments. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participates actively as a member of the Executive Strategy team in making decisions that affect the overall operational processes of the agency
  • Provides day-to-day management and leadership to Operations team
  • Develops and maintains a sound plan of organization
  • Designs and improves company operational processes to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of the organization
  • Runs oversight and training on our cloud-based ERP system and other media and marketing software
  • Ensures that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations
  • Evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically
  • Leads the development of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based upon broad organizational goals and objectives
  • Oversees annual planning and multi-year budgeting process for each department and subsidiaries
  • Provides guidance to staff during budgeting process by establishing guidelines and allocating resources according to the short and long-term objectives of the organization
  • Ensures all financial targets and margins are met annually across all client operations departments while monitoring and managing expenses
  • Works closely with Client Services team to develop budget proposals, contracts, and staffing plans as well as assists in current client growth
  • Works in tandem with Business Development and Marketing Communications teams on proposal development, pitches and building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Provides strong entrepreneurial and innovative leadership to employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Sets comprehensive goals and objectives for employee performance and growth
  • Hires, manages and motivates staff while providing opportunities for them to develop and grow
  • Works in partnership with CEO to champion rEvolution mission and values
  • Represents rEvolution in a positive and professional manner with clients, partners, vendors and colleagues

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 15+ years marketing and media agency experience
  • 7+ years managerial experience
  • Previous experience on executive team
  • Experience working within rapidly growing agency services organizations
  • Passion for the rEvolution mission, vision, culture and goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
  • Polished and professional with an agency demeanor
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations with professionalism, good judgment, and a sense of humor
  • Understanding of a variety of business functions including HR, Finance, Legal and IT and experience designing client program budgets
  • Bachelor’s degree required, strong finance background and an MBA preferred
