Lorenz brings proven leadership to accelerate rEvolution’s growth strategies as a global leader in sports marketing

CHICAGO (March 2, 2022)rEvolution, the global integrated sports marketing agency, is pleased to announce Tony Lorenz as Global Head of Corporate Development, with a primary focus on rEvolution’s M&A activities.

A founding investing partner of the agency in 2001, Lorenz returns to advise rEvolution in capitalizing on its significant growth potential, coming off an exceptional year in 2021.

Lorenz is a proven leader in driving marketing agencies and corporate businesses toward significant growth and success. As a driver on rEvolution’s Corporate Development team, Tony will be responsible for identifying, negotiating and executing strategic partnerships and acquisitions that will further bolster rEvolution’s presence as a world-class global leader in sports marketing. Beyond growth in rEvolution’s core as a sports and lifestyle marketing and media agency, Tony will also capitalize on the quickly escalating convergence of B2B and B2C event experiences.

Lorenz is a proven entrepreneur and CEO with a stellar background in strategy, finance, creative, business development, marketing, technology, production and client services. Most recently, he led the Event Solutions business at Apollo-backed communications cloud company Notified. Before that, he was CEO of B2B event management and solutions firm PRA, where he transformed the business in under four years through an aggressive strategic plan and execution that featured nineteen acquisitions and PRA’s continued partnership with private equity. Lorenz founded and sold his industry-leading event marketing firm ProActive to Freeman, where he served as a member of the executive leadership team.

Recognized as one of the 25 most influential people in the global meetings industry, Lorenz holds a BS from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University and is a graduate of Harvard Business School. He works out of rEvolution’s global headquarters in Chicago, Ill.
