rEvolution, the global integrated sports marketing agency, is pleased to announce the hiring of Daina Gjemre as its new Vice President of Talent. Gjemre will be instrumental in attracting and developing top talent to fully realize rEvolution’s vision to be a leader in global sports marketing.

“I am honored to join rEvolution and look forward to building upon the talented team that makes this agency so exceptional,” said Gjemre. “Leveraging my diverse HR and talent management experience, I am excited to immerse myself into the strong rEvolution culture that rEvolution’s President and Founder John Rowady has built and to work toward pushing the agency to the next level.”

An agency veteran, Gjemre has advanced experience in building HR departments, teams and programs from the ground up with the goal of driving exceptional business results. Her impressive background includes time spent at agencies such as FCB and Burson-Marsteller as well as private equity firm Starwood Capital. She will provide the leadership necessary to develop long-term talent strategies spanning employee engagement, recruitment, training and career development across rEvolution globally, as well as with its subsidiaries rEv YOUTH, a youth-focused marketing agency, REV/XP, an esports marketing agency, and RGE, a global events consultancy.

“Daina’s addition to the rEvolution team is another important and exciting step in our commitment to further develop rEvolution’s industry-leading global sports marketing team to deliver world-class work for our growing list of client partners,” said Rowady.

With 15 years of HR experience, Gjemre has a proven track record at startups, fast-growth companies and large corporate organizations. Most recently, she worked as the Director of Talent for advisory and IT consulting firm HBR Consulting, leading efforts across performance management, employee engagement, organization design, talent acquisition, training and compensation strategy. Gjemre works out of rEvolution’s Chicago headquarters and reports directly to Darren Marshall, rEvolution’s Chief of Staff.
