In 2018, Twitter made more of an effort to promote gaming and esports content and coverage. The company just released its 2018 year in review report, in which Call of Duty players dominated the top ten most-tweeted about professional gamers. Even more exciting is two high-profile Call of Duty players REV/XP manages made the list: Seth “Scump” Abner topped it at #1 and Ian “Crimsix” Porter was close behind him at #5.

Both players have sizable Twitter followers, sharing quality content and interacting with their fans on a daily basis. Scump particularly jumped in popularity across his social channels this past October 2018, following the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. He and Crimsix also recently made headlines when they helped lead their team OpTic Gaming to victory at the CWL Las Vegas Open this past December.
