At a time when most youth sports programming is still on pause, First Tee Greater Chicago, a youth development organization dedicated to teaching golf and life skills to young people aged seven to 18, has been one of the first programs to safely resume in-person activities earlier this summer for its large number of participants across the Chicagoland.

Providing its participants the chance to learn from some of the best in the sport, PGA Professional and First Tee Greater Chicago Honorary chairman Luke Donald joined a youth clinic at Chicago’s Waveland facilities this past Monday, July 13. Accompanied by Northwestern Golf Coach Pat Goss, the former World Number One played the first hole with the attending group, discussing his strategy from tee to green, answering question the kids had for him and chatting with local media.

A part of rEvolution’s core value “We Are Change Agents,” it is our priority to support and respect each other and the community at large. Understanding the significance of sports in kids’ and our own lives every day, we are excited to partner with First Tee Greater Chicago, providing pro bono PR services for its youth clinics, such as this week’s event with Luke Donald, as well as its Corporate Challenge, the organization’s primary annual fundraising event. Taking place Monday, September 21, 2020 at North Shore Country Club in Glenview, Ill., the event’s proceeds will support the organization’s mission to bring educational programs and valuable life lessons to Chicago area youth from all backgrounds through the game of golf.
