Creative Services Director

rEvolution is looking for a Creative Services Director to be based in its brand new central London offices. The Creative Services Director manages Creative Services efforts and takes a proactive approach to strategically integrate creative services into accounts in order to enhance the overall messaging and experience. This individual takes the lead on creative responsibilities with major clients by managing timelines and creating world-class deliverables with unexpected creative detail that set rEvolution apart. This role is also responsible for maintaining a consistent creative theme across the rEvolution brand and managing key agency touch points with clients, staff and the outside world. This role is essential in refining how rEvolution communicates from a creative perspective.

This person will work across a range of sports and entertainment-related clients and accounts, and will help drive the growth of the new Creative Services department within a growing team of 12 in the London office. In addition to client work, this person fulfills creative projects for special executive requests and in-house programming, and is a key member of rEvolution’s branding team, assisting with marketing efforts for the agency globally as well as its subsidiary agencies.

TheCreative Services Director will report day-to-day directly to the London Managing Director, with secondary reporting lines to Mike Hormuth – Senior Director, Marketing Communications in Chicago.

Candidate Experience:

  • 10+ years of creative services at an agency, brand or property
  • Advanced knowledge and competency in PowerPoint and Adobe CS Suite programme – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Flash
  • 4-year degree

Key Skills Include:

  • Proven experience and knowledge of integrated marketing communications, including but not limited to experiential, public relations, media, consumer insights, email marketing, sponsorship and creative design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, to peers, senior stakeholders, and clients
  • Developing and delivering creative concepts, compelling client presentations and new business presentations
  • Exceptional follow-up and timely execution of projects
  • Ability to prioritise in the face of many immediate demands and work under pressure
  • Highly detailed and organised to stay on tight deadlines
  • Candidates should be flexible to work long hours when necessary, which may include nights and weekends
  • Travel may be required as necessary to align with client programming and planning meetings off-site

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Leadership

  • Manages internal staff regarding creative services timelines and deliverables
  • Understands and interprets creative assets that serve client needs
  • Creates deliverables and art files for on-site storage
  • Creative lead on hospitality programmes; designs hospitality package kits including: invitations, signage at events, notecards and name credentials

Client Relationship Management

  • Creative services lead on major rEvolution client accounts
  • Builds relationships in a client-facing role
  • Improves and creates creative services opportunities for new and existing clients
  • Pitches creative services to new and existing clients

rEvolution Brand

  • Manages and designs all rEvolution-branded collateral and inventory including: business cards, stationery, branded assets and gifts
  • Maintains and updates rEvolution website and updates, and creates rEvolution case studies
  • Designs rEvolution credentials and capabilities decks

Interpersonal

  • Works closely with Business Development team on deck proposal development and creation
  • Works with IT to design custom hospitality registration site
  • Works with ideation team to determine feasibility of ideas
  • Liaises frequently with account managers regarding creative services on accounts

Miscellaneous

  • Fulfills creative projects for special executive requests including: charity projects, executive retreats, company and client in-house parties and custom meeting presentations and decks
  • Member of rEvolution brand team
